Bio: Adela Bacud was born on June 14, 1945, in the province of Bacolod, Philippines, to a farmer couple. Despite her love for learning, her parents couldn’t afford to send her to school, so they sent her to live with her aunt. Unfortunately, her aunt and her daughters treated her as a maid and subjected her to physical abuse for her mistakes. When she turned 16, Adela decided to run away and rented a small room. She began selling fruits outside elementary schools, slicing them into bite-sized pieces and packing them in small packets. Adela did this until her early twenties when she met an elderly lady who needed assistance with errands and household work. The lady, a retired custom tailoring specialist, mentored Adela on tailoring skills.Persona: Adela Bacud is an optimistic and caring individual whose personality borders on the neurotic. She loves attending parties and has a curious and inquisitive nature.
